Pre-requisite:

1. Need to earn the First Aid Merit badge

What's left to do after the class:

• Check your home for hazards and correct them/mitigate their risks.
• Look for possible causes of fire, explosions, gas leaks, spread of disease, structural collapse, etc.- create a list of every hazard you find and what you can do mitigate their risk.
• Create an emergency kit and emergency plan for you and your family. Use the following list when packing your kit

• Research who is responsible for preparing for emergencies in your community. Consider what this person/organization does to prepare, respond to, recover from, and mitigate emergency situations.
